This is an opportunity for a hands on dynamic and experienced individual to join us as Sous Chef. You will actively work as part of a small and passionate team, contributing to all aspects of the kitchen and leading by example to ensure the highest standards of quality, consistency, and service delivery.
About the role:
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all culinary operations
- Actively contribute to food preparation and service periods
- Inspire and mentor the culinary team and foster a collaborative team culture
- Ensure a safe, positive, and productive work environment
- Ensure the highest standards quality, presentation, and service delivery
About You:
- Strong experience as a Senior CDP or Sous Chef with a desire to grow
- Broad culinary background with a passion for French cuisine and seasonal produce
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Successful management of food costs, ordering, stock takes and labour costs
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Attention to detail and passion for delivering exceptional food quality
- Experience working in fast paced environments and maintaining composure under pressure
You must have permanent working rights in Australia (Citizenship or Permanent Residency)
