This is an opportunity for a hands on dynamic and experienced individual to join us as Sous Chef. You will actively work as part of a small and passionate team, contributing to all aspects of the kitchen and leading by example to ensure the highest standards of quality, consistency, and service delivery.

About the role:

  • Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all culinary operations
  • Actively contribute to food preparation and service periods
  • Inspire and mentor the culinary team and foster a collaborative team culture
  • Ensure a safe, positive, and productive work environment
  • Ensure the highest standards quality, presentation, and service delivery

About You:

  • Strong experience as a Senior CDP or Sous Chef with a desire to grow
  • Broad culinary background with a passion for French cuisine and seasonal produce
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Successful management of food costs, ordering, stock takes and labour costs
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and passion for delivering exceptional food quality
  • Experience working in fast paced environments and maintaining composure under pressure

You must have permanent working rights in Australia (Citizenship or Permanent Residency)
