About the Position
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate supply of materials across key categories. With duties including but not limited to:
- Lead purchasing activities across critical categories to support production and project needs.
- Guide and support purchasing officers, fostering strong supplier relationships and performance.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through effective stock control, transfers, and reporting.
- Ensure data integrity in our ERP system (Infor Visual), including pricing and vendor details.
- Track and expedite deliveries, proactively managing risks to avoid delays.
- Contribute to system and process improvements.
About You
To be successful for this role with tour team, you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in inventory planning, ideally in manufacturing or engineering.
- Strong international freight experience (import/export) is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of MRP-based procurement and ERP systems.
- Experience in fabrication planning, inter-branch transfers, stocktake, project procurement, consignment inventory and freight cost allocation is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and report generation tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with strong written and verbal communication.
- A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships with employees, suppliers and logistics providers.
