In this role, you'll:

Working within our Production Planning Lead Team at Sydney Trains, the primary purpose of our Production Planning Analyst role is to be accountable for developing, sustaining and continually improving the production planning processes, tools and practices required by the Maintenance Directorate to forecast and deliver current and future production calendars and data integrity.

About you

You will execute safety responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities consistent with Sydney Trains safety management system requirements.

You will facilitate the collection of maintenance scheduling requirements for various asset types and develop production planning rules and best practices to support an effective and efficient maintenance scheduling system.

You will take responsibility for the creation of maintenance schedule tasks for new equipment ensuring their compliance with the Technical Maintenance Plan (TMP) including the safety requirements and their alignment with the existing equipment.

This role will see you implement new/revised TMP across the network ensuring the maintenance schedule tasks are compliant with the standards and conduct risk analysis ensuring impact of the change is understood and risk is mitigated and communicated.

You will also contribute to the provisioning of maintenance services for future assets following capital projects ensuring the timely development of production plans.

You will also monitor the effectiveness of the plans and even distribution of the workload and lead continuous improvement of production plans, data integrity and production planning processes and tools.

You will utilise SAP (EAM) to manage maintenance data, scheduling tasks and reporting to support planning accuracy and compliance.

You shall work closely with stakeholders to ensure SAP data integrity, streamline scheduling workflows and implement improvements within the system.
