A blue collar industry client is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate HR Administrator. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality support across the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to engagement, learning, and compliance.

Please note that this position is 4-5 days on-site, with opportunity to work from home 1 day per week.

About the Role:

Working within a supportive and mentoring HR Team, this is a fast-paced, varied position where no two days are the same. You'll be working closely with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure smooth processes and meaningful employee experiences. Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data in line with privacy legislation
  • Coordinate recruitment admin for students and casuals—ads, interviews, inbox management
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes including induction packs and exit interviews
  • Assist with internal communications, mail merges, and invoice processing
  • Help deliver engagement initiatives like surveys, wellbeing programs, and recognition
  • Organise training logistics and maintain compliance records
  • Contribute to internal and external reporting (e.g. WGEA, tenders)
  • Monitor apprentice progress and ensure compliance with funding requirements
  • Provide responsive support via the People Engagement mailbox
What You'll Bring:
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar admin or coordination role
  • Strong skills in MS Office, Teams, SharePoint, and HR tools (e.g. DocuSign, Power BI)
  • High attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to push back when needed
  • Experience with systems (ideally HRIS) and maintaining data integrity
  • A proactive, service-oriented approach with a commitment to confidentiality
