HR Operations Coordinator

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Access Telehealth Full time $60,000 - $90,000 per year

Work options: Hybrid

This role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with 4 days per week and a minimum of 2 days based at our Heatherton office.

The HR Coordinator supports daily HR operations, ensuring smooth processes, accurate documentation, and timely support for staff and managers.

In this newly created role reporting into the Head of HR & Talent Acquisition, you will drive compliance, onboarding, offboarding, and HR admin across the business.

Human Resources Coordinator – 4 Days a Week, Hybrid

Are you looking for a role where you can have real ownership, work independently, and still enjoy balance in your life?

At Access Telehealth, we're transforming how healthcare reaches aged care homes and regional communities. Behind the scenes, our HR team makes this possible by creating the systems and support that keep everything running smoothly.

We're searching for a Human Resources Coordinator who thrives on autonomy and loves the idea of being trusted to get things done. This isn't just ticking boxes, it's about shaping processes, being the go-to person for employees and managers, all whilst keeping our HR operations humming across both our head office and clinical teams.

Why this role is different
  • Four days a week: A chance to enjoy work/life balance without stepping back in responsibility.
  • Hybrid working: Mix of home and office (minimum two days in Heatherton) so you can focus when you need and collaborate in person when it matters.
  • Trusted autonomy: You'll report to our Head of Talent and HR but will be given the space to own your patch, make improvements, and manage day to day HR matters.
  • Meaningful impact: Your work directly supports clinicians delivering care to some of the most vulnerable Australians.
What you'll be doing
  • Acting as the first point of contact for staff and contractor HR queries.
  • Coordinating onboarding, offboarding, and contract variations, ensuring everything is accurate and on time.
  • Driving HR communications and engagement activities that make our workplace feel connected.
  • Maintaining HR records and compliance frameworks—keeping us sharp, professional, and audit-ready.
  • Supporting employee relations, change management, and continuous improvement projects.
Who you are

You're self driven, organised, and confident working without someone looking over your shoulder. Maybe you've already got solid HR experience and now want balance, or perhaps you're looking to return to the workforce at a less senior level while still doing meaningful work. Either way, you're proactive, practical, and know how to juggle multiple priorities without breaking stride.

The essentials
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong HR coordination/administration background.
  • Understanding of Australian employment law and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and systems skills.

Bonus points if you have healthcare or aged care experience, or if you're familiar with HRIS platforms like Employment Hero.

Ready to take ownership, make a difference, and enjoy balance? Apply now and bring your HR skills to a role where autonomy and impact go hand in hand.

At Access Telehealth, we know our strength comes from the diversity of our people. We're proud to create an environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and able to bring their whole selves to work. We warmly welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and life experiences, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, LGBTQIA+ communities, people with disability, and those returning to the workforce.
