Queensland Shared Services (QSS) is leading the upgrade and migration of the Rest of Government (RoG) on-premises SAP ECC6 system to a standardised SAP S/4HANA public cloud platform. As part of this initiative, government agencies must update or redesign their integrations to ensure compatibility with the new environment.

As the AO8 Technical Integration Lead, you will be responsible for leading the agency's internal technical integration stream. The role serves as the key technical liaison between QSS and DHPW's technical and business teams, focusing on identifying, assessing, and overseeing the redevelopment or enhancement of all DHPW integration points with the RoG SAP system.

What you will be doing:

• Manage integration timelines and technical deliverables by designing technical integration approaches, overseeing implementation planning, ensuring appropriate resources in place to support successful delivery.

• Lead the technical assessment, design, and redevelopment of SAP-DHPW interfaces leveraging integration technologies such as SFTP, flat files, Azure Integration Services, and middleware platforms.

• Translate integration requirements into technical specifications using SAP-supported protocols such as API standards, Axway and SFTP.

• Ensure compliance with Queensland Government Information Security Classification Framework (QGISCF), especially for Protected data exchanges.

• Collaborate with the Project Manager, QSS and SAP teams to validate interface formats, data flows, and middleware configurations.

• Oversee the identification and mitigation of project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.

• Lead and manage technical workshops, discovery sessions, and impact assessments with internal and external stakeholders.

• Provide oversight and leadership for testing cycles including SIT, UAT, and regression testing ensuring the quality and functionality of all integration components.

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to internal developers and integration analysts to build capability and ensure best practices.

• Oversee the documentation of integration architecture, interface inventories, and change logs to ensure accuracy and traceability.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to support change management and training activities ensuring smooth adoption of integration solutions.
