Our client is a well-established importer and distributor, known for their strong customer relationships, reliability and genuine team culture. They're now looking for an experienced energetic and organised Sales Administrator who loves variety and enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

A snapshot of your day:

  • Preparing pricing requests, raising purchase orders and receipting materials into the system
  • Tracking shipments from overseas mills, following up assertively for updates and keeping sales reps informed
  • Processing customer orders and arranging transport through 3PL providers
  • Supporting Account Managers by monitoring stock orders and responding to material call-ups

You'll be the go-to link between:

Suppliers, shipping contacts, internal warehouse staff, 3PL providers, freight companies and customers so your communication and relationship skills will really shine here.

What we're looking for:

  • Exceptional attention to detail; you notice the small things others might miss
  • Strong computer skills and confidence learning new systems
  • A bright, positive attitude and reliable work ethic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Warmly assertive, you're not afraid to follow up or chase info when needed
  • Experience in a similar admin role (procurement, logistics or sales support ideal)
