ABOUT THE ROLE
Entering a new phase of growth for the business, we are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Branch Manager to join our high-achieving team. The Branch Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations, performance, and profitability of the Dandenong VIC branch. This includes effective leadership and management of the technician and administrative teams, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and driving sustainable sales and service growth.

The role requires a hands-on leader with strong commercial acumen, customer focus, and the ability to identify and capitalise on local opportunities. This is a permanent, full-time position with interviews available immediately. Working hours are Mon-Fri 830am - 5pm.

An attractive remuneration package including a company vehicle is offered to the right candidate, PLUS annual branch bonus $$$.

Please note: You must be an Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident or have another valid working visa to be considered for this role. Hydraulics experience is highly preferred but not essential.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & People Management

• Lead, manage, and support a team of technicians and administrative staff.

• Drive a high-performance culture that promotes safety, quality, and accountability.

• Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and individual development plans.

• Ensure all team members adhere to company policies, procedures, and WHS standards.

Sales & Business Development

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the region to grow branch revenue.

• Promote the sale of all Manuli Ryco products and services through direct representation or in a support role for Distribution, OEM's, Contracts and major supply accounts

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.

• Prepare and follow up on quotes and service proposals.

Service Operations

• Oversee service technician activities, customer service levels and job completion to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

• Manage service quality, timely delivery, and resource allocation.

• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues promptly.

Branch Administration & Reporting

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of job cards, invoices, and payroll-related approvals.

• Manage branch budgets, P&L, and operational KPIs.

• Prepare and present regular reports on branch performance, sales, and workforce metrics.

Compliance & Workplace Safety

• Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety regulations and company policies.

• Promote a safety-first culture and actively participate in audits and inspections.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in branch management.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead technical and admin teams

• Experience in sales and business development, preferably in a technical or industrial environment.

• Sound understanding of service operations and customer service principles.

• Hydraulics background, highly desirable
