We are excited to announce that we have an opportunity for a Full-Time Medical Receptionist to join our enthusiastic front desk Reception team within our multidisciplinary Specialist Centre. As Medical Receptionist at The Stadium Clinic, you will work in an important front desk position for multiple specialists and allied health professionals. The role is fast-paced, energetic and no two days are the same
Our reception team represents The Stadium Clinic daily by being the welcoming face of the practice, supporting our Specialists, Orthopaedic Surgeons and Allied Health Professionals with the highest quality of care and services, provided to our patients and visiting doctors alike. Our work environment is in a uniquely renovated heritage building located in the Entertainment Quarter, in the heart of Sydney, with easy links to public transport via buses and light rail.

Your daily duties will include but are not limited to:
- Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice for appointments
- Answering phone calls promptly and courteously
- Coordinating consultations with varying specialists and allied health professionals.
- Returning Patient emails/ enquiries.
- Distributing and processing of patient correspondence accordingly
- Processing of payments (Medicare, Work cover, DVA & Allied Health)
- General administrative/receptionist duties
- Set-up of consult rooms for different practitioners.
- Please Note: This role is in an exceptionally busy reception desk. An ability to work efficiently and handle multiple tasks at any one time is extremely important. The position is for full-time hours, Monday-Friday.
Criteria/Skills of our Medical Receptionists:
- We have a patient-focused approach, with genuine empathy and interest in their individual needs.
- Excellent communication skills are essential in this role, as you always represent the clinic in a professional manner.
- Absolute confidentiality regarding patients and practice information.
- Previous background with Medical Software/ Reception experience is preferred but not essential.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are vital surrounding data entry.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, together with being able to work independently as well as part of our busy reception team.
- A Reliable, adaptable, efficient and flexible approach to work is essential.
- We offer a cohesive work environment with two other reception teams within same location for our surrounding businesses.
