The Role
As the Compliance Coordinator, you will provide vital administrative support to the Compliance Manager, focusing on maintaining accurate records of licenses, certifications, and compliance documentation. You will play a key role in ensuring the department meets its regulatory obligations and supports the smooth operation of the Permit to Work system.
This is a full-time role based in Perth, reporting to the Compliance Manager. You will work closely with all operational departments and contribute to a safe, secure, and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and update license and certification records for all engineering and facilities staff
- Assist in the administration of the Permit to Work system, including data entry and document control
- Prepare compliance reports and summaries for internal use
- Coordinate renewal reminders and follow-ups for expiring licenses
- Support audit preparation and documentation
- Maintain filing systems and databases related to compliance activities
- Liaise with HR, training providers, and regulatory bodies as needed
- Perform other administration tasks as required
- Adhere to all Crown health and safety responsibilities and obligations
About you
- Strong understanding of safety and compliance processes in facilities or property environments
- 3+ years in compliance, safety administration, or facilities support, ideally within property services or hospitality environments
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Proficiency in digital record-keeping systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
To be successful you will have:
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety, Facilities Management, or a related field (preferred)
- WHS training or equivalent safety certification (desirable)
- Experience with CMMS or compliance management systems (desirable)
