Qualifications & experience

Applicants must:

  • Have a QLD open driver's licence.
  • Be capable of working from service manuals.
  • Be willing to attend training as required.
  • Have relevant qualifications/experience in electronics or instrumentation
  • Be proficient in mechanical work/hand tool usage.
  • Possess fault finding skills.
  • Have a restricted electrical licence. This is not essential, however applicants must be eligible to apply for and obtain a restricted electrical licence in their initial period of employment.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • We are looking for a diligent and responsible candidate to learn specific skills to become an effective Field Service Technician in the biomedical field.
  • Our field service technicians go onsite independently to install, calibrate, maintain and repair a range of biomedical equipment for our many clients. Professional presentation and communication skills are essential.
  • Technicians are required to maintain timely and accurate administrative records of work performed.
