About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Field Service Technician
to join our team in Brisbane and Surrounds. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of
heavy equipment
including
earthmoving machinery, telehandlers, and other construction equipment
. The ideal candidate will have
post-trade qualifications
and a minimum of
3 years' experience
in the heavy equipment sector.

You will work directly with our clients across a variety of industries, ensuring their equipment is maintained to the highest standard and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of heavy equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems
  • Provide technical support to customers and liaise with the service team
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Manage and maintain service tools, equipment, and stock levels
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies
  • Drive high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service and technical expertise

Essential Requirements:

  • Trade qualification
    in Mechanical, Diesel Fitting, or related field
  • Minimum
    3+ years post-trade experience
    in servicing
    heavy equipment
    , including
    earthmoving, construction, or mining machinery
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in the field
  • Valid Australian
    driver's licence
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
    (essential for application)
