Our client, a global leader in power and automation, is seeking skilled Field Service Technicians (Electrical Fitters) to join their national service team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large rotating machines across Australia and occasionally PNG, with strong earning potential, secure employment, and world-class training.

What you'll be doing:

  • Test, diagnose, and service large rotating electrical machines (motors and generators)
  • Troubleshoot faults and recommend corrective actions
  • Perform on-site service work to strict safety and quality standards
  • Manage job documentation, material lists, and equipment availability
  • Deliver a professional, customer-focused service experience
  • Provide coaching and guidance to apprentices and junior technicians
  • Travel nationally and internationally as required

What we're looking for:

  • Electrical Fitter Licence (consideration for final-year or disconnect/reconnect licence holders for some roles)
  • At least 2 years' hands-on experience, ideally with rotating machines
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
  • Sound knowledge of OHS and compliance requirements
  • Computer literacy for reporting and documentation
  • Flexibility to travel regularly for extended periods

Highly regarded skills (not required):

  • Working at Heights & Confined Space tickets
  • High Risk Work Licence (Rigging/Dogging)
  • First Aid, CPR & Low Voltage Rescue certification
