Lead wellbeing and engagement strategy for one of NSW's largest employers. As Senior Manager Wellbeing & Engagement, you'll design and deliver evidence-based programs that make psychological safety real, not just rhetoric – building a workplace where 30,000+ employees feel safe to speak up, collaborate, and perform at their best.

Your Impact
Strategic Leadership

  • Drive Transport's psychological safety, wellbeing, and engagement strategies and ensure alignment and integration with organisational culture priorities
  • Design evidence-based frameworks that create genuinely supportive work environments
  • Lead mental health, wellbeing, and psychosocial hazard prevention programs
  • Build comprehensive reporting systems that track wellbeing indicators and deliver insights to leadership

Culture & Capability

  • Equip leaders to foster psychologically safe teams through targeted training and coaching
  • Conduct needs analysis to identify culture and engagement gaps
  • Deliver pilot initiatives that embed cultural aspirations across Transport
  • Partner with executives, P&C, and safety teams to integrate wellbeing into operations

Prevention & Support

  • Collaborate with safety teams to develop controls that proactively manage psychosocial hazards
  • Provide expert advice on psychological safety, workplace conflicts, and wellbeing matters
  • Create tools and resources that help employees manage stress, resilience, and mental health
  • Monitor control effectiveness and adapt approaches based on data to inform and improve program initiatives

Engagement Excellence

  • Lead organisation-wide employee engagement strategy and initiatives including engagement monitoring and improvement programs.
  • Leverage data insights across the organisation to develop tailored engagement initiatives that integrate as appropriate across a very diverse organisation by increasing the focus on engagement and culture.
  • Support agencies in developing and executing effective engagement action plans
  • Foster open conversations around mental health and psychological safety
  • Drive meaningful behavioural change across leadership and team dynamics

Essential
What You Bring

  • Proven experience leading wellbeing, psychological safety, and engagement initiatives at organisational scale
  • Deep knowledge of psychosocial hazards, mental health frameworks, and evidence-based wellbeing practices
  • Track record designing strategies that drive cultural and behavioural change and leading engagement monitoring and improvement programs.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and partnering across complex organisations
