Our client, OZZIE CAR RENTALS, is looking for a reliable Motor Mechanic to join their Car Rental business workshop in Campbellfield.

Task & responsibilities

  • Diagnosis of automotive vehicles (various makes and models).
  • Ability to figure out the fault, repair and provide the best possible solutions.
  • Mechanical repairs including periodic servicing, brakes repair, clutches and timing belts repair/replacement on different makes and models.
  • Inspect and run diagnostic tests to discover functional issues.
  • Dismantle and replace or repair the defective part or equipment.
  • Change engine and transmission oils.
  • Conduct quality checks before returning vehicles.
  • Detail work required to achieve roadworthiness
  • Adhere and follow work safety guidelines, report any hazards, general housekeeping and workshop maintenance
  • Train other workshop staff
  • May require responding vehicle breakdown service calls.

Qualification & experience

  • Qualified Motor Mechanic
  • Minimum 3 years prior experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised
  • AC Handling License regarded but not essential
  • High attention to detail
