Applicants must be able to complete the following:

*Certificate III or Certificate IV and Diploma qualifications in relevant field and two years of post qualification experience, or at least 3 years relevant experience as a motor mechanic

* Performing regular services including changing oil and oil filters, engine tune-ups, replace brake pads, replace suspension components

* Detecting the faults related to electrical and mechanical parts of the vehicles

* Maintains, tests and repairs petrol engines and the mechanical parts of lightweight motor vehicles such as transmissions, suspension, steering and brakes

* Dismantling the transmissions, engine assembly and any other parts to check them

* Assembly and reassembling mechanical components of engine

* Fixing the faults and referring to the service manuals

*Full Australian Driver Liscense
