Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general mechanical repairs, maintenance, and servicing on a variety of vehicles
  • Inspect engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and other vital components
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Conduct road tests and ensure all vehicles meet manufacturer and safety standards
  • Replace or repair worn and defective parts with precision and care
  • Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
  • Ensure all work complies with occupational health and safety standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and organised workshop

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop environment
  • Sound understanding of workplace safety practices and quality standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship
