We are looking for a reliable Motor Mechanic to join our Car Rental business workshop in Campbellfield.

Task & responsibilities

Diagnosis of automotive vehicles (various makes and models).

Ability to figure out the fault, repair and provide the best possible solutions.

Mechanical repairs including periodic servicing, brakes repair, clutches and timing belts repair/replacement on different makes and models.

Inspect and run diagnostic tests to discover functional issues.

Dismantle and replace or repair the defective part or equipment.

Change engine and transmission oils.

Conduct quality checks before returning vehicles.

Detail work required to achieve roadworthiness

Adhere and follow work safety guidelines, report any hazards, general housekeeping and workshop maintenance

Train other workshop staff

May require responding vehicle breakdown service calls.

Qualification & experience

Qualified Motor Mechanic

Minimum 3 years prior experience in a similar role

Ability to work independently and unsupervised

AC Handling License regarded but not essential

High attention to detail
