We have since grown, now providing instrumentation, electrical and sales solution services to major heavy industrial and mining companies. BIC is recognized as a leading force in all aspects of these areas.

We are seeking applications for a permanent role to work with us.

The Role

You will be tasked with completing control system programming, diagnosis, fault finding, equipment configuration and technical assessment works. The work will be a combination of Greenfields and Brownfields projects across a wide range of industrial applications.

The role is based in the Bunbury office, working typical office hours Monday to Friday, with additional site opportunities.

The role will be best suited to a mid-career technician who is based in the greater Bunbury area, is eager to work with customers to develop solutions in the control and instrumentation disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Technical liaison with customers and suppliers.
  • Site visits for meetings, data collection and scoping of works. Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements, workplace health and safety standards.

Complete control system work including but not limited to;

  • PLC programming.
  • SCADA / HMI screen development and programming.
  • Control and instrument equipment integration.
  • Control, instrumentation and communications equipment configuration.
  • Site diagnosis and fault finding works.
  • Site testing and commissioning works.
