About the role

This is a full-time, on-site role operating on a 9 day fortnight rotation located in Bunbury, WA 6230. As the Operations Coordinator at South West Compressors, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the workshop and onsite maintenance operations, ensuring efficient and effective production processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Scheduling and coordinating work assignments for workshop technicians and staff
  • Monitoring workflow and production targets to identify and resolve bottlenecks
  • Maintaining inventory and ordering parts and supplies as needed
  • Providing guidance and support to technicians to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Generating detailed reports on performance and metrics via our Aroflo workshop management system
  • Training will be provided on Aroflo workshop management system for successful candidates

What we're looking for

  • Successful candidate must have valid electrical qualifications and be willing to handle electrical repairs within the SWC workshop.
  • Proven experience in a similar workshop coordinator or production planning role
  • Minimum 2-3 years of workshop coordinator or production planning experience is required
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with technicians, managers and other stakeholders
  • Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools
  • Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly
  • Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment
  • Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required for this position
