Relief Teacher Coordinator

We are seeking a passionate administrator as our Relief Teacher Coordinator in our Junior School (P – 6) starting Term 1, 2026.

This exciting Part Time position directly supports our Head of Primary and the wider Junior School team. This role focuses on being incredibly organised, contacting, managing, and coordinating our relief teaching staff and supporting our relief teaching team. It also requires future planning and sourcing of staff required for specific days or events.

This position suits an applicant looking for a flexible workday with a morning schedule. The Relief Teacher Coordinator is expected to be on campus from 7:45 am each morning until Relief Teachers are supported and ready to teach. Hours outside of this are flexible, and work-from-home is able to be negotiated.

• Demonstrated experience working in a busy administration/coordination role
• High level of time management, administration and communication skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Be a team player, display initiative and show attention to detail
• A flexible approach and "can do" attitude is essential.
• Strong IT Skills: a background in typing experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, is important, as is familiarity with the Google Suite of programs
• Candidates must work well under time- pressure, multitask with efficiency and feel comfortable making phone calls/texts
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
• The ability to exhibit Northside Christian College's genuine Christian commitment and care for students
• An employee Blue Card (or eligibility to obtain one)

Training will be provided on our internal databases and a phone is provided with this role.
