This position is a full-time permanent position commencing in Term 4 of the 2024 academic year.

Applicants for the position of Learning Support Teacher must demonstrate at a minimum that they:

- are a committed Christian, who is active in the life of a Reformed Evangelical Church
- have sufficient expertise and knowledge to lead the implementation of the College’s vision of holistic
- Christian education and distinctively Christian pastoral care.
- conduct themselves in a manner in keeping with the College ethos and Code of Conduct at all times,
- modelling Christian maturity to the College community.
- have sufficient expertise and knowledge to develop and implement education support programs using
- effective and research-based practices.
- have a supportive and relational teaching focus with skills to support a range of moderate student
- needs.
- have knowledge of relevant compliance requirements in schools.
- have a valid Working with Children Check in NSW (WWCC) and have active accreditation to teach in

NSW from NESA.

**Core Responsibilities**:
The Learning Support Teacher should work to:

- Develop and implement teaching and learning programs to ensure effective support for students

with moderate additional needs in the Senior School.
- Coordinate the collaborative learning plans for each student in the small class, ensuring priority

learning goals are developed and supported using effective practices.
- Maintain effective documentation, communication, and collaboration to ensure compliance with

NCCD requirements for students in the class.
- Coordinate a Teacher’s Aide to support the student needs in the class.
- Liaise with other school leaders to ensure effective integration and holistic support for students from

the class into the broader educational and other school programs.

**Details of Employment**:

- The employment entitlements for this position are determined under the conditions of the

Independent Schools NSW (Teacher) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021 after training and experience
has been considered.
- This position has a reduced re teaching load.
