About the Role

We're seeking a strategic and driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth in delivering customised Digital Twin solutions. You'll collaborate with engineers, end-users, and key stakeholders, backed by an in-house team of technical experts. This isn't just a sales role - it's an opportunity to influence our expansion in a fast-evolving industry and drive real impact.

We need a strategic closer, a professional who builds opportunity pipelines, navigates multi-stakeholder deals with finesse, and consistently converts relationships into results

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth by securing contracts in mining, oil & gas, and large-scale infrastructure.

  • Develop customized Digital Twin solutions tailored to client needs across industries.

  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, engagement, solution design, quoting, negotiation, and post-sale support.

  • Build and nurture relationships with digital architects, consultants, government agencies, and end-users.

  • Work closely with operations, product development, and commercial teams to create compelling proposals.

  • Provide strategic insights to shape market growth and positioning.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.

  • Represent Airscope at meetings, presentations, and industry events to showcase Digital Twin innovation.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.

  • A consultative seller with a problem-solving mindset and experience in solution-based sales.

  • A commercially savvy, technically adept professional with a track record of closing high-value deals.

  • Self-motivated, able to work independently while staying aligned with internal teams.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

3+ years in mining, oil & gas, or related industries (highly desirable).

  • Proven success in securing complex, high-value projects with multiple stakeholders.

  • Experience engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong grasp of technical specifications, proposals, and tender documentation.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and structured sales pipeline management.

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not essential).

  • Full working rights in Australia, PR or Citizens (mandatory).
