Purpose of the Role:
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Business Development & Client Growth Manager is responsible for driving growth across AUS's key service areas - logistics, labour hire, and associated solutions - through proactive client engagement, structured business development, and effective use of AUS's new CRM (Microsoft Dynamics).
The role will lead the rollout and adoption of the CRM as the central system for managing client relationships, business opportunities, and marketing initiatives.
This position is critical to ensuring AUS's commercial success, deepening client partnerships, and leveraging AUS's competitive advantage as one of the leading Aboriginal-owned businesses operating in the Pilbara.
Business Development & Growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development and sales strategies to attract new clients and expand existing accounts.
- Identify market opportunities aligned with AUS's service offerings and competitive strengths.
- Develop a structured pipeline of opportunities through Microsoft Dynamics.
- Manage proposal development, submissions, and tender follow-ups.
- Collaborate with divisional managers to align sales strategies with group objectives.
- Contribute to business planning, forecasting, and market analysis.
- Explore cross-divisional opportunities that leverage AUS Holdings' integrated service offering.
- Establish structured engagement plans for key accounts.
- Conduct regular client reviews to identify new service opportunities, cross-sell potential, and relationship health.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure client satisfaction and alignment with AUS's values and standards.
- Provide guidance, training and support to internal teams to maximise CRM adoption.
- About You
: - Proven experience and success in business development, client management, or sales within a B2B or industrial services context.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify and convert opportunities.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and deliver outcomes.
- Experience with CRM platforms (preferably Microsoft Dynamics).
- Understanding of Aboriginal business contexts, employment programs, or regional operations.
- Experience in logistics, labour hire, civil, mining, or related industries (Desirable).
- Background in marketing coordination or campaign management.
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach
- Commitment to Aboriginal engagement and regional business development
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel within WA.
