About Us

Go Doors, a member of the Record / ASSA Abloy Group, is one of Western Australia's leading providers of automatic doors, roller doors, gates, and related solutions. We specialise in supplying and installing industry-leading brands across the commercial sector and hold multiple contracts with both government and private organisations.

As we continue to grow, we are looking to expand our team with a dedicated and proactive Business Development Manager who can help us strengthen client relationships, secure new opportunities, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve revenue targets
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships
  • Research market trends and competitor activities to shape growth strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions for clients
  • Prepare and present proposals, pitches, and contracts to prospective clients
  • Track performance metrics and provide regular business reports
  • Estimating / quoting automatic door packages to fabricators, builders and end users
  • Monitor tendering portals and generating leads
  • Following up and managing sale leads and quotes requests
  • Conduct site visits with Technicians, Consultants or Customers as necessary
  • Liaise with subcontractors, tradespeople and suppliers
  • Undertake site measurements and assess site conditions as required
  • Specifying architectural hardware into commercial projects
  • Presenting technical information to architects, builders, fabricators, glaziers and customers
  • Commercial customers only, we don't undertake residential work

About You

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications with a mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Prior experience in automatic doors and architectural hardware will be highly regarded, however applicants with demonstrated sales or estimation experience from a technical industry would be suitable e.g. electrical, medical, glazing, fabrication, mechanical.
  • Previously held titles may include, but not be limited to, Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, Architectural Hardware Specification, Estimator.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
