Architectural Draughtsperson – REVIT Operator – 3-month Fixed Term (Full time) Contract – Sydney CBD a fixed term 3-month contract, or a contractor engagement for services as a vendor with a registered ABN. Play a vital role in shaping Uniting's property developmentsAbout the Role:
Your responsibilities will include: Visual Template Management: Develop a consistent visual template for all room data sheets within the Design Guidelines. Revit Documentation: Create high-quality Revit documentation for Residential Aged Care and Retirement Living spaces, including plans, elevations, sections, 3D axonometric views, and schedules. Feedback Integration: Review and capture stakeholder feedback, ensuring accurate design representation. Revit Library Management: Enhance the Revit library and develop custom Revit families for project-specific needs. Collaboration: Work closely with the Design Quality Managers and other stakeholders to maintain design intent. Compliance Assurance: Ensure documentation meets the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, and the Apartment Design Guide (ADG). Quality Control: Review, audit, and finalise your own work, maintaining a high standard. About You: Qualification in Drafting (minimum Certificate IV), Architecture, or a related field. At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Revit Architecture. Comprehensive knowledge of the NCC, Australian Standards, and ADG. Strong documentation skills and experience maintaining design standards. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach. Desirable: Experience in Class 2 building documentation. Experience with Aged Care or Seniors Living developments. Familiarity with Design Guidelines development.
