About the opportunity
As a Senior Draftsperson in our NSW/ACT Drafting team, you'll play a key role in turning our clients' visions into reality. Reporting to the Drafting Team Leader, you'll create accurate, compliant CAD drawings with a focus on buildability. More specifically, you will:
• Interpret tender, council, and supply authority documents to create detailed working drawings
• Produce site plans that balance client requests, compliance, and buildability
• Prepare CDC/DA documentation and construction drawings in line with developer guidelines, council, or certifying authority requirements
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including project coordinators, estimators, colour consultants, and the permits team
• Review and amend construction drawings as required
• Problem-solve drafting and construction matters with a focus on buildability and efficiency
• Manage related administration tasks in line with company standards
About you
You're detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and share our passion for being Australia's leading residential builder. You'll also align with our core values and bring:
• Experience using ArchiCAD for residential drawings
• Strong understanding of development approvals, construction processes, and buildability
• Certificate IV (or equivalent) in Architectural Drafting
• Residential construction project experience (advantageous)
• Knowledge of the NCC, housing codes, and relevant regulations
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and strong interpersonal skills
