Legal Aid NSW delivers accessible legal services across criminal, family and civil law. We provide advice, court representation, and family dispute resolution through 28 offices and phone-based support, helping people navigate the legal system with confidence and fairness.
About the role
As a Recruitment Officer, you will play a key role in supporting Legal Aid NSW's recruitment processes. You will provide expert advice and high-quality administrative support to ensure the delivery of efficient, effective, and compliant recruitment services. Working closely with Hiring Managers and Talent Acquisition Business Partners you will help attract, assess, and onboard top talent, contributing to the ongoing success of Legal Aid NSW.
Responsibilities include:
- Support end-to-end recruitment, from advertising roles to onboarding successful candidates.
- Conduct phone screens, schedule interviews, and manage pre-employment checks to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
- Maintain recruitment systems (Success Factors), trackers, and SharePoint folders with accuracy.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and service standards.

The essential requirements for this role
You must:
- be willing to do a Criminal Record Check
- hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies)
