You'll join a high-energy business development team, translating strategy, data, and discovery into compelling written proposals that move global clients to "yes."

What you'll do
  • Translate strategy into story: Write crisp executive summaries that capture client priorities, risks, and outcomes.
  • Prove it: Create case studies, visuals, and tables that demonstrate delivery and de-risk decisions.
  • Make it readable: Simplify complex or technical material (from scientists, engineers, or clinicians) into clear, client-ready language.
  • Guide the choice: Use behavioural-economics framing to shape option sets that lead clients to the preferred path.
  • Orchestrate execution: Outline delivery approaches and project timelines (Gantt or similar) for clarity and confidence.
  • Fuel the team: Build and maintain a "proposal library" of results, wins, and workflows — the intel that powers new bids.
  • Pricing inputs: Draft first-pass pricing scopes; you'll learn how to interpret and structure them with BD guidance.

You in a nutshell
  • Proposal/tender writer experienced in creating structured, persuasive documents that win work.
  • Analytical synthesiser: Turns complex or technical detail into concise, outcome-oriented messages.
  • Organised operator: Keeps drafts, data, and design assets orderly; works fast without losing accuracy.
  • Collaborative communicator: 75% focused craft, 25% team interface — confident gathering info across departments.
  • Nice to have: Exposure to regulated or technical industries (health, science, engineering, education) helps but isn't essential.

Tools you'll touch
  • Canva for presentation and formatting (think Word, but sharper).
  • Salesforce for context (light use).
  • Bonus: Experience with Qwilr or similar proposal tools; we welcome new ideas and A/B tests.
