The project integrates advanced digital signalling and automation technologies to deliver a safer, more efficient, and future-ready transport network.

The Role

We're seeking a
Lead Cyber Security Engineer
to drive the deployment and optimisation of
Nozomi Networks
within complex
Operational Technology (OT)
environments. You'll take full ownership of the solution lifecycle — from design and integration through to validation and tuning — ensuring secure, compliant, and reliable operations across critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and validation of Nozomi-based vulnerability management solutions.
  • Integrate and deploy technologies across OT systems such as signalling, control, and communications platforms.
  • Manage interfaces with diverse OT subsystems, ensuring interoperability and secure configurations.
  • Optimise and tune threat alerts for effective monitoring and response.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, IT, and cybersecurity.
  • Maintain high-quality technical documentation and support lifecycle management.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience deploying and managing
    Nozomi Networks
    or similar OT cybersecurity platforms.
  • Strong understanding of
    Operational Technology (OT)
    and
    industrial control systems
    .
  • Hands-on experience in system integration and threat alert optimisation.
  • Familiarity with
    ETCS
    or other
    rail signalling systems
    (advantageous).
  • Sound knowledge of vulnerability management frameworks and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
