Join a forward-thinking engineering team at the forefront of rail technology and cybersecurity. We're seeking a Cyber Security Engineer with deep expertise in Operational Technology (OT) environments, particularly within European Train Control System (ETCS) frameworks. This is a hands-on role focused on secure system integration, compliance, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Your day at NTT

• Design, implement, and validate cybersecurity solutions for OT systems including signalling, control, and communications platforms.
• Ensure alignment with cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443 and TS 50701.
• Support the full system engineering lifecycle from requirements through to commissioning and maintenance.
• Conduct risk assessments, threat modelling, and vulnerability analysis across OT assets.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate cybersecurity into rail infrastructure projects.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including security plans, design reports, and compliance records.

What would make you a good fit for this role?

• Proven experience in cybersecurity implementation within OT environments, ideally in transport or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of ETCS architecture and cybersecurity implications.
• Familiarity with industry standards including IEC 62443 and TS 50701.
• Hands-on expertise in system integration and lifecycle engineering.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across engineering and project teams.
