We're seeking a Lead Cyber Security Engineer with hands-on expertise in VEAMS to join a high-impact infrastructure program in Brisbane. This role will lead the design, integration, and deployment of cybersecurity solutions across complex environments, ensuring robust protection and compliance with industry standards.

Role Summary
:

The Lead Cyber Security Engineer (VEAMS) will lead the design, integration, and deployment of cybersecurity technologies within Operational Technology (OT) environments. This role is critical to ensuring secure and resilient implementation of VEAMS (Vital Ethernet Access Management System) across diverse OT subsystems within the rail network.

Key Responsibilities
:

  • Implement VEAMS solutions in rail OT systems
  • Interface with heterogeneous subsystems for seamless integration
  • Ensure cybersecurity compliance and system resilience
  • Support full system engineering lifecycle
  • Oversee the deployment and delivery of VEAMS technology across signalling, control, and communications platforms.
  • Manage interfaces with heterogeneous OT subsystems, ensuring seamless integration and interoperability.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, or equivalent.
  • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or transport projects.
