Senior Future Student Advisor

Collingwood, Victoria, Australia Collarts (Australian College of the Arts) Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Love talking to people and hitting goals? As a Senior Future Student Advisor at Collarts, you'll guide passionate students into life-changing courses, all while enjoying hybrid flexibility and uncapped commissions. We are proud to welcome a diverse range of learners to our VET and HE courses, and see difference as powerful. Our small classes and boutique campuses mean students are seen, known and cared for and we strive to provide an exceptional experience for students.

About us:

Collarts (and its predecessor Ausmusic) began more than 30 years ago with three programs, a handful of students and a small team of dedicated lecturers. Our foundation disciplines were music and audio – a proudly rock and roll start to life.

Operating as Collarts from 2010, today we teach more than 2,000 students from over 30 countries in 4 campuses and 50 high schools. We offer 24 degree programs, 5 vocational certificates and we're ranked #1 for QILT student engagement for creative industry providers in Australia. We welcome international students from more than 30 countries and host exchange students from China, Germany, France and the USA.

We have some of the brightest minds in industry across all disciplines: ARIA award winners, renowned playwrights, actors and comedians, leading film and screen directors, DOLBY Atmos practitioners, recognised music producers and sound engineers, design and animation award winners, and some of the most experienced and respected event and entertainment academics in Australia.

In 2024 we launched a new Strategic Plan, Creativity on Purpose, with goals focused on reach, engagement, sustainability and quality. The plan represents an inflection point for Collarts, as we find new audiences, launch new online and postgraduate products and work towards University College status. It's the perfect time to join the team: welcome to Australia's best creative education community.

The role:

We're looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Senior Future Student Advisor to help shape the journeys of the next generation of creatives. You'll join a dynamic and supportive Recruitment team, guiding prospective students from initial enquiry through to enrolment across our unique and industry-led courses. You'll work toward meeting trimester enrolment targets, actively participating in sales activities including phone outreach and on-campus events to drive student enrolments.

As a member of our Recruitment team, you will embody our values of Curiosity, Kindness, Connection, Courage and Mastery in everything that you do and be responsible for:

  • Represent Collarts at recruitment events, including Open Days and Career Expos, to promote the Collarts experience and foster community engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless and supportive student journey from enquiry to enrolment.
  • Maintain accurate data in the CRM system, generate reports, and use performance dashboards to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by implementing innovative recruitment strategies and best practices.

This position is based at the Wellington Street campus in Collingwood with some ability to work from home. This is a great opportunity to join a dedicated and supportive team, enriching the lives of our students.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in the education, call center or similar high-pressure environment.

  • Demonstrates a positive contribution to Collarts' culture by aligning with its core values and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Working with Children Check

It's a bonus if you have:

  • Proven experience in using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) to manage data and drive recruitment outcomes.
  • High initiative and excellent problem-solving skills.
