Bilgola Veterinary Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our close-knit team.
We are a small, family-owned practice that prides itself on delivering exceptional patient care and outstanding customer service. Our friendly, supportive team enjoys working collaboratively, providing high-quality care, and maintaining a positive, fun work environment.
Our clinic offers a wide range of services, including routine and specialist consultations and surgery, imaging (ultrasound, digital and dental radiography), chemotherapy, dental procedures using IM3 equipment, in-house pathology and wildlife care.
We are currently looking for a nurse to work 1–2 days per week, with additional shifts available to provide holiday coverage.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
- A commitment to delivering a high standard of patient care and customer service
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, with a gentle and compassionate approach
- A proactive attitude and enthusiasm for ongoing learning and professional development
- A genuine passion for animals and the veterinary profession
Key Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional nursing support to veterinarians in all areas, including surgical preparation, anaesthetic monitoring, blood collection, IV catheter placement, in-house pathology, and hospital patient care
- Assisting with reception and administrative duties as required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised hospital environment
- Ensuring all patients and clients receive the highest level of care and attention
