Veterinary Nurse / Animal Attendant – Rural Veterinary Services (Naracoorte, SA)

Join a dedicated mixed-practice veterinary team servicing the Limestone Coast and Western Victoria.

Rural Veterinary Services is a locally owned, well-established clinic based in Naracoorte, SA, providing quality veterinary care to both large and small animals across the region. We're seeking a compassionate and motivated Vet Nurse/Animal Attendant to join our friendly and supportive team.


About the Role

You'll be part of a small, close-knit team providing excellent patient care and client service.

Your day will include a mix of:

  • Assisting vets in consultations and surgery
  • Monitoring anaesthetics and post-operative recovery
  • Maintaining clinic cleanliness and equipment
  • Animal handling and care
  • Reception and client communication

We value teamwork, initiative, and a positive attitude. This position is full-time.


About You

You are someone who:

  • Has a Certificate II or IV in Veterinary Nursing (or working towards it)
  • Enjoys working with animals and people
  • Is caring, reliable, and enjoys being part of a team
  • Has great communication and organisational skills and is highly motivated
  • Takes pride in providing high standards of animal care
  • Holds valid Australian work authorisation

Experience in a veterinary clinic will be highly regarded, but we're happy to train the right candidate.
