The Senior Power Platform Developer plays a key role in supporting and developing a national information management system built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, the Power Platform, and integrated with SharePoint and other third-party tools. The role involves leading technical development, documentation, testing, release management, and mentoring junior developers, while working closely with business analysts on solution design and implementation.

About the Role

  • Develop and maintain solutions using Power Platform, Dataverse, and Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Deliver efficient, scalable, and reusable components in line with project and policy goals.
  • Lead change and release management, contribute to technical planning, and drive process improvements.
  • Provide technical leadership, ensure quality assurance, and support junior developers through coaching and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain clear and accessible technical documentation and support system reliability and continuity.

Team Context The developer is part of a team responsible for the delivery, support, and ongoing development of a national IT system used by government partners. The team includes specialists in:

  • Application Development

Key Selection Criteria

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse).
  • Proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Portals administration and customisation
  • Model-driven and canvas apps, C#, JavaScript, HTML, PowerShell, Liquid templates
  • Dynamics 365, particularly in Case Management
  • Knowledge of system integration via Azure and custom APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, and SDLC methodologies.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience providing technical mentorship and collaborating across teams.
  • Desirable: experience with Azure Synapse, Data Factory, SQL, Web Application Firewalls, and Service Queues.
