About the Role

A high-performing funds management group focused on real estate is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead its finance function and oversee the delivery of timely, accurate and compliant financial reporting. This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who enjoys both operational finance and strategic business partnering.

In this role, you will manage the group's financial systems, ensure strong governance, and drive ongoing improvement across processes, controls, and reporting. You will work closely with the CFO, senior leadership, internal teams, and external advisers.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Lead daily finance operations including AP/AR, weekly reporting, payroll coordination, GL management, and bank reconciliations.
  • Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain cashflow forecasts and prepare monthly capital-management packs for the Board.
  • Oversee treasury and banking compliance requirements.

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead annual budgeting and reforecasting cycles.
  • Present financial results and insights to senior management to inform decision-making.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support strategy and commercial initiatives.

Compliance & Risk

  • Manage interim and year-end audits, delivering audited financial statements on time.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory obligations and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate and current insurance coverage across all group entities.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of Management Accountants, Senior Bookkeepers and Assistants.
  • Work collaboratively with the senior leadership team, investor relations, venue managers and other internal stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement across systems, financial controls and processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager within a complex, multi-entity environment (potentially Manager/Senior Manager from audit - ideally funds division).
  • Experience within professional services or chartered accounting (highly regarded).
  • CA qualification preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership capability.
  • NetSuite experience advantageous; advanced Excel essential.
