Our business

Founded in 2011, RAC currently owns and manages 11 energy generation assets around Australia. That portfolio consists of 1.6GW capacity of renewable energy assets and

gas-fired power stations, which provide stability to the renewable energy market. A further 1.8GW of new proposed projects is under development.

RAC is owned by RATCH Group PCL (RATCH), Thailand's largest energy project developer and asset operator. RATCH is listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand and has assets across Asia.

About the role

RATCH-Australia Corporation Limited is seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to join our team in North Sydney. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial operations and supporting strategic decision-making. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare annual statutory accounts and monthly management reporting
  • Oversee the preparation of month end reporting for corporate and development project entities.
  • Budgeting and forecasting for projects and corporate entities as part of the annual budget preparation.
  • Management of both external banking and intercompany loan arrangements, including ensuring compliance with undertakings and covenants.
  • Reviewing cashflow and liquidity forecasting management of term deposits
  • Corporate Tax compliance including assistance and liaison with RATCH Thailand on group matters.
  • Reviewing taxation returns including but not limited to:

  • income tax return

  • BAS
  • FBT return
  • Liaison with internal and external tax specialists
  • Management of qualified accountants, junior team members and oversight of accounts payable

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field  CPA or CA qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar finance management role  Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and tax experience  Previous experience managing staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
