Inventory Controller – Darwin NT

The Role -

Are you an experienced inventory professional ready to take the lead in a dynamic and safety-focused environment? Toll Energy is seeking an Inventory Controller to join our Darwin operations supporting the INPEX project. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive inventory accuracy, champion best practices, and ensure safe and efficient material flow across the site.

As an Inventory Controller, you'll be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory control. Your mission - To ensure accuracy, compliance, and service excellence in line with Toll's national strategy and operational standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring inventory excellence, driving operational efficiency, and contributing to a high-performing team.

Duties and Responsibilities -

  • Lead frontline inventory operations including stock counts, discrepancy investigations, and put-away processes.
  • Coordinate inventory adjustments, material transfers, and disposal reports.
  • Champion inventory management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including INPEX offshore, engineering, and maintenance teams.
  • Support SAP inventory transactions and challenge testing for team proficiency.
  • Participate in formal stocktakes, audits, and aging staging projects.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and promote a SaIF (Safe and Incident Free) culture.

What You'll Bring to succeed:

  • Minimum 2 years' team leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong background in industrial warehousing and inventory control.
  • Experience with large-scale WMS/ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially around Excel.
  • Understanding of batch management and integrated management systems.
  • Certificate III in Warehouse Operations.
  • Forklift Licence.
