The team:

In our Housing Team, YellowBridge QLD provides support to a wide range of people in the Toowoomba area, and we are looking for people who have something to bring to our team as our new Property Officer.

The role and you:

In this position you will be required to deliver high standards of property and asset services to the Housing Services area, manage the delivery of services with a focus on property inspections and arranging maintenance, administration of information and data to support the Housing Services reporting framework, and manage key relationships with staff, clients, landlords and partners.

Position Requirements:

  • High level interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a multifunctional team and interact with a broad cross-section of people
  • Ability to understand and deliver quality property coordination services
  • Strong understanding of tenancy and housing laws, including the relevant legislation and the ability to adapt to emerging changes
  • Conduct inspections, arrange entry and exit condition reports, coordinate property maintenance, liaise with tenants contractors real estates and property owners
  • Good skills in time and workload management, including collection and collation of relevant information and data
  • Process invoices in Chintaro and Sharepoint, ensuring that contractors and suppliers are paid on time
  • Invoice tenants to cover repairs and maintenance when appropriate
  • All applicants are required to have Yellow and Blue cards.
  • Any further skills or training you hold would be advantageous.
