As the Senior Workforce Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in leading a team to ensure Ochre Health's locum workforce needs are met. This leadership position requires a proactive and strategic approach to roster management, with a specific focus on efficiently filling urgent locum roles and supporting our Ochre practices. A key responsibility will be to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, aligning our workforce strategy with the organisation's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of three direct reports, offering guidance and support.
  • Oversee roster management to guarantee adequate staffing across all required positions.
  • Proactively address and fill urgent locum roles efficiently to ensure continuity of care.
  • Develop and implement workforce strategies in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to align workforce planning with organisational objectives.
  • Monitor team performance and recruitment metrics to ensure targets are achieved.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven leadership experience in time critical roles
  • Experience in roster management, ideally within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage urgent workforce requirements.
  • A background in talent acquisition or a related field would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with workforce management software and CRM systems.
