Reporting to the Director of Middle School and the Director of Senior School, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and energetic high-level administrator to support the College's Wellbeing portfolio.
Permanent full-time - Commence Monday 19 January 2026.
Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM during School term only
This role will suit someone who has strong administrative and operational support experience, thrives on variety, and enjoys working with a close-knit team of professionals who are committed to student care and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support – Provide high-level assistance to the Director of Middle School and Director of Senior School, including diary management, correspondence and documentation relating to student management.
- Wellbeing Program Support – Assist with the delivery of wellbeing initiatives, processes and projects, and maintain accurate data and records to support student care.
- Event Coordination – Support the planning and execution of wellbeing-related events and activities, including logistics, transport, and communication with staff, students and families.
- Risk Management and Compliance – Assist with risk management documentation and ensure compliance with College policies and child safeguarding requirements for all activities.
- Communication and Liaison – Act as a point of contact for staff, students, parents and external providers, ensuring professional and timely communication.
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate you satisfy all of the following essential selection criteria:
Essential Criteria
- Commitment to the Catholic ethos of a School in the Edmund Rice tradition.
- Demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviours and professional boundaries that reflect child safeguarding values in practice.
- Proven experience (ideally 2+ years) in providing high level administrative support, preferably within a school environment.
- Excellent computer literacy with Microsoft Office suite of products, with an ability to learn and embrace new technology solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and a capacity to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to balance and resolve conflicting priorities and work to deadlines, using a flexible and resourceful approach to effectively multi-task.
- Highly organised, proactive, flexible work approach, solutions focused and committed to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high performing team, with flexibility to occasionally support events outside of standard hours.
