Retail & Rover Security Officers – Sydney CBD / Pyrmont

Section 4 Security is currently seeking experienced and professional Security Officers to join our growing team.

We have multiple positions available on Casual, Part-Time, and Full-Time basis across Luxury Retail and Rover/Control Room environments.

Available Roles

Role 1: Retail Security Officer (Luxury Stores – Sydney CBD)

  • Job Type: Static Guard / Door Greeter / Customer Service
  • Ideal for individuals already working full-time and looking to earn extra income on their days off.
  • Work in high-end luxury retail environments representing premium brands.

Role 2: Rover / Control Room Security Officer (Pyrmont)

  • Job Type: Rover / Foot Patrol / Control Room
  • Full Time
  • Dynamic role requiring excellent observation, coordination, and communication skills.

Candidates may apply for both retail and rover positions simultaneously and will be considered for roles that best match their experience and availability.

About the Roles

As a Security Officer with Section 4 Security, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and protection of staff, customers, merchandise, and property.

You will maintain a strong security presence while delivering excellent customer service and upholding the professional image of our clients.

What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience as a Security Officer, preferably in luxury retail or roving/control room operations
  • Minimum 6-12 months of security officer experience required
  • Impeccable grooming and professional presentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving and situational awareness skills
  • Current NSW Security Licence and clean criminal history
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
Key Responsibilities
  • Patrolling premises and monitoring for suspicious activity or safety concerns
  • Responding promptly to incidents and emergencies
  • Maintaining accurate reports and incident logs
  • Providing professional customer service to clients and visitors
  • Working collaboratively with management to enforce site procedures and security standards
  • Protecting and securing client assets and valuables
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant security procedures and legislation
