Project Manager – Government Housing Projects

Sydney | Newcastle | Central Coast | $150M–$250M Program

We're seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to lead the delivery of
large-scale government housing projects
across NSW.

This is an opportunity to join a respected builder with a strong pipeline of
community-focused, design-and-construct developments
that are making a real difference.

The Role

As Project Manager, you'll oversee the full lifecycle of multi-stage housing projects, coordinating design, procurement, and delivery while maintaining program, budget, and quality outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing
    $50M–$150M+ multi-dwelling government housing developments
  • Leading project teams (CA, Site Teams, Subcontractors) to deliver on
    time, budget, and quality standards
  • Driving
    contract compliance, reporting, forecasting and stakeholder communication
  • Overseeing
    design coordination, procurement, and construction delivery
  • Ensuring
    OH&S, risk management and community engagement
    are upheld at all stages

About You

  • 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager
    within a
    head-contractor or developer-builder environment
  • Proven track record in
    multi-residential / government or affordable housing projects
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive site and office teams toward successful outcomes
  • Excellent communication and reporting capabilities with a commercial mindset
  • Familiar with managing
    large subcontractor packages, cost control and contract administration
