Contract Administrator/Estimator – Landscape Construction

About the Role:

We're looking for a
Contract Administrator/Estimator

to join our team full-time at Keilor Park, reporting to the Lead Project & Tender Analyst. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone motivated and eager to grow their project management skills in the landscape construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Administration
    – Review contract terms, ensure compliance, manage procurement and timelines, liaise with Project Superintendents, prepare and submit variation quotations.
  • Tender Estimation
    – Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial landscape projects, factoring in materials, labour, equipment, and related costs.
  • Supplier & Subcontractor Management
    – Build and maintain strong supplier and subcontractor relationships, source competitive pricing, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Project Coordination
    – Work closely with the Managing Director, Lead Project & Tender Analyst, Project Foremen, and subcontractors to keep projects on track and resolve challenges as they arise.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    – Maintain accurate contracts, records, and project documentation.
  • OH&S Support
    – Assist with safety system management and compliance.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in contract administration within construction or landscape projects, or relevant qualifications.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in contract reviews and estimating.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and experience with Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
