About Our Client

Our client is Australian owned and plays a major part in the road maintenance industry, heavily involved in various asphalt and paving works across South-East Queensland. They are currently seeking experienced Asphalt Labourers and Operators for works across the North side of Brisbane with their yard based in Narangba.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be required to work Monday to Friday working 12 hour shifts either commencing between 5am-6am or 5pm-6pm. Your core responsibilities will include;

  • Operating paving machine, bobcats, compactors, and rollers (need to be ticketed and competent)

  • Checking levels, grades, and edges for quality standards.

  • Sweeping paving bases prior to laying asphalt and other surfaces

  • Shovelling asphalt mix into areas inaccessible to paving machines, and compacting mix using rakes and hand tampers
  • Material handling and manual labouring duties
  • Rrepairing potholes, cracks, and damaged surfaces

What You Will Need

  • Previous experience within the asphalt industry (minimum 12 months)
  • Experience operating machinery within the asphalt industry
  • MR or HR Licence (highly advantageous)
  • Hardworking and reliable
  • White Card
  • Driver's Licence + reliable transport
