About the role

We're seeking experienced Asphalt labourers/ Flo-con labourers to join our team at MR-Roads in Narangba, Queensland. This is a casual role, providing you with the flexibility to work when it suits you best. As an asphalt labourer, you'll play a crucial part in the construction and maintenance of roads, highways, and other vital infrastructure projects.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist with all aspects of Flo-Con asphalt laying, including set-up, placement, raking & shovelling
  2. Operate hand tools and small plant machinery
  3. Maintain a clean and safe worksite in compliance with WHS standards
  4. Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and environmental regulations
  5. Collaborating with the broader construction team to ensure efficient and timely project delivery

What we're looking for

  1. A valid drivers licence
  2. Experience as an asphalt labourer
  3. Strong understanding of safe operating procedures and a commitment to workplace health and safety
  4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  5. The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
