About the role

Austek Roads is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Asphalt Crew Members to join our crews based out of Clontarf. As an Asphalt Crew Member, you will play a crucial role in supporting our asphalt paving operations, contributing to the successful delivery of vital infrastructure projects across the region.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the asphalt paving crew with the setup, operation and maintenance of asphalt paving equipment
  • Ensuring the safe and efficient placement of asphalt material on project sites
  • Performing manual labour tasks such as shovelling, raking and tamping asphalt
  • Participating in the cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas
  • Collaborating with the wider construction crew to deliver high-quality asphalt paving work
  • Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as an Asphalt Crew Member preferred but we are willing to provide training to the right candidate
  • Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of asphalt paving equipment
  • Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
