Newcastle West NSW, Australia Nourished Not Deprived Full time $87,290 - $106,690 per year

Sick of spending more time on admin than actual therapy? We get it.

That's why we built Nourished Not Deprived - a company founded by Allied Health professionals who were tired of the burnout and red tape. We've taken care of the admin, marketing, and tech headaches so you can do what you're trained to do: help people communicate, eat, connect, and thrive.

We're growing quickly, and we're on the lookout for Speech Pathologists who want flexibility, autonomy, and a whole lot of heart.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

  • Supporting a mix of NDIS clients - children, teens, or adults - we build your caseload around your passions.
  • Delivering neuro-affirming, capacity-building therapy (AAC, feeding, literacy, speech, language - you choose your scope).
  • Writing high-impact reports that help families access the support they need.
  • Collaborating with OTs, psychologists, and dietitians in our multidisciplinary team.
  • Choosing telehealth, face-to-face, or a hybrid model — whatever suits your lifestyle.
  • Joining optional collab sessions for community and growth (no forced fun, just real connections)

What a Week Might Look Like

  • 2 telehealth days supporting kids with language delays and school-based communication goals.
  • 1 day face-to-face (if you're NSW-based) with children working on speech sounds or AAC.
  • 1 day writing reports or collaborating with support coordinators (with admin helping streamline it all).
  • 0 hours chasing bookings, scheduling, or NDIS forms - our admin team's got that.

Why Join Us

  • Work solo, never alone. You'll have direct access to our Director of Clinical Operations and Culture - a senior clinician with over 10 years' experience, available for consults or just a safe space to chat.
  • Streamlined onboarding. Easy systems, ready-to-go templates, and genuine support from day one.
  • Choose your caseload. Love early language? Feeding? AAC? We'll make it happen.
  • Set your own schedule. School hours, after school, weekends - we support what works for you.
  • Great pay. $87.29–$106.69/hr + bonuses ($1,500–$5,000 based on billables).
  • Work from anywhere. We've been remote since day one, and our systems actually make that easy.
  • Human-first culture. We check in, we laugh, we don't do cold corporate vibes.
  • Real admin support. No more sending reminders, managing bookings, or fiddling with service agreements.
  • Values you'll feel. We're compassionate, inclusive, and here for each other.

Who We're Looking For

  • A speechie who believes in neuro-affirming care, flexibility, and working with purpose.
  • Ideally, you have 1+ year of experience (but if you're new and passionate, reach out anyway).
  • SPA registration, WWCC, driver's licence (if doing face-to-face), and Australian working rights.
  • Someone who wants support - not micromanagement.

A Note From Us

There are a lot of Speechie jobs out there — but we think ours is a little different. We actually treat our clinicians like gold. No endless systems. No isolation. No "figure it out yourself" culture. Just good humans, doing good work, together.

Curious? Apply - even if you're not 100% sure it's a fit. Let's chat and see what could work for you.
