Cornerstone College is a Year 7 to 12 school with over 34 years of experience educating students in the Adelaide hills. Located on beautiful grounds in Mt Barker, the College is underpinned by a strong Christian faith in the Lutheran tradition.

The Social Media and Communications Officer will be passionate about communicating stories through online marketing, photography and videography and will be responsible for selecting, maintaining and preserving content that engages our community and prospective families. They will oversee the successful management of content for the College website, social media channels and online communities, ensuring the content is on brand and that it communicates messages consistent with strategic focus.

This role is critical within the College community to provide a focus on connecting with our local and broader community through our online and physical presence.

The Social Media and Communications Officer contributes to the mission and strategic goals of Cornerstone College, through ensuring high quality communication with our community across a range of media. Ultimately responsible to the College Principal, through the Executive Assistant, they work closely with the Enrolments and Partnerships Officer and other administrative team members to deliver our annual marketing strategy.

The successful candidate will be a confident and creative person with outstanding design and communication skills and a focus on building a strong College brand.

In addition to being able to perform all duties as set out in the position description, the following abilities and attributes are highly desirable:

*Relevant tertiary qualifications relevant to the role in design, marketing, or a related field.
*Previous experience in marketing and communication in schools or education.
*High level of knowledge and experience of managing online presence and digital advertising.
*Exemplary organisational, prioritisation, time management skills, and attention to detail.
*A commitment to undertake ongoing personal and professional development.
*A capacity to work independently and as a team player.
*The ability to work well under pressure.

*Experience leading online presence including social media, website, SEO etc.
*High level of accuracy and eye for detail.
*Superior level of written communication allowing attention to detail when writing content.
*Ability to build and foster relationships.
